I've been doing a few tests to create a scene for my sand terrain tiles. Trying out new tools like Truesky have proved informative and I've managed some new applications of atmospheric fog to generate sand forms.
The scene continually seemed to lack a focal point so I decided to bring back the old Hedron Archives from the forest scene and paired them with my new blue berryl substance to bring a sense of focus to the shots.
A nice quick study for world machine I think it paid off in the end. I'm thinking of doing a more indepth execution of a desert scene in the future, will update when it comes to that.
Update: I've added a few more height forms and variation to the terrain tile to breakup the forms! Sacrificed abit of minimalist focal points for detail, but I feel it improves the scene overall.
